Manchester City No.9 Erling Haaland has now sent a message to Jadon Sancho as the Manchester United No.25 looks set to rejoin Borussia Dortmund.

The 23-year-old was posting on Instagram.

So, what did Erling Haaland send to Jadon Sancho? Let’s take a look…

Haaland sends message to Sancho

Well, the England international’s career has nosedived following his £73m move to Manchester United.

Sancho rapidly developed into one of Europe’s best forwards after deciding to leave Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

The 23-year-old scored 50 goals and provided 64 assists in 137 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.

Now, however – according to Florian Plettenburg of Sky Germany – Sancho is in talks to rejoin Borussia Dortmund after being exiled by Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

Haaland appears to have caught wind of these rumours, as the Manchester City talisman has now posted a photo of himself and Sancho on Instagram during their days at the Signal Iduna Park, along with the caption “proper baller that” – clearly, the Norway international still rates his old teammate highly.

How Haaland and Sancho fared at Borussia Dortmund

In an alternate universe, Sancho stayed at Manchester City and tore English football to pieces alongside Haaland.

The pair certainly hit it off in Germany, to say the least.

Haaland and Sancho shared a pitch on 46 occasions together while at Borussia Dortmund, combining for 11 goals as the German giants impressively picked up an average of 2.07 points per game.

The London-born winger provided ten assists for the Norwegian, who returned the favour with a single setup.

Hopefully, Sancho can rediscover his rhythm away from Manchester United – as his downfall has been hard to witness despite the messy manner in which he departed Manchester City.
