Oleksandr Zinchenko has said that Manchester City would not be able to function without the crucial presence of Rodri in their side.
Speaking on the official FIVE YouTube channel, the Arsenal left-back gave his two cents on the £62.8 million (BBC Sport) man.
Oleksandr Zinchenko showered Rodri with praise and made the suggestion that he is the most irreplaceable player at Manchester City.

Branded as ‘complete’ by Frank LeBouef, the 27-year-old is widely considered as the best defensive midfielder in the world.
Both on and off the ball, the Spanish international simply has far too much in his game to even be compared to his peers.
Now, Oleksandr Zinchenko has lauded the impact Rodri has on his former side, Manchester City.
“Rodri absolutely fits for City’s system. If you take him out, it’s a different City. That’s for sure. He’s the main detail there because for me at City, this is the toughest and the hardest position to play. It’s the hardest. And Rodri suits there so well.”

Oleksandr Zinchenko is spot on and while some may argue that Rodri remains as key to Manchester City due to Kalvin Phillips’ struggles, that could not be further from the truth.
Even if Phillips had adapted to life at the Etihad Stadium, the former Atletico Madrid is the archetypal Guardiola holding midfielder.
The manner in which Rodri can dictate a game is second to none.
While defensively, the treble-winner’s defensive instincts are at a level where he does have to cover every blade of grass to stop attacks.
This allows Rodri to always be positioned perfectly to dictate attacks.
In addition, not many defensive midfielders in recent memory have a knack for producing as many big moments, especially in terms of goals as the three-time Premier League winner can.
All in all, we are truly witnessing greatness when Rodri is on the pitch.
