Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon lauded Jeremy Doku after his electric performance for Manchester City in their 3-1 victory against Burnley.
Ahead of the contest, Pep Guardiola revealed that Vincent Kompany was “right” to have rated the 21-year-old as highly as he did before he even made his move to the blue side of Manchester in the summer.
As Jeremy Doku was reunited with his former Anderlecht manager at the Etihad Stadium, he made sure to punish his Clarets side from minute one.
Neil Lennon praises “brilliant” Jeremy Doku after Manchester City defeat Burnley
The £55.5 million (Sky Sports) man terrorised Vitinho throughout the contest, skipping past him for fun on countless occasions with his tremendous dribbling and searing pace.
Even when Johann Berg Gudmundsson dropped back to provide his struggling right-back support, the City winger effortlessly breezed past him time and time again.
As Jeremy Doku dazzled in a Manchester City shirt once again during their latest win against Burnley, Neil Lennon revealed how much he enjoyed watching him in action.

“I couldn’t take my eyes off [Jeremy] Doku. I thought he was just brilliant”, he said on Manchester City’s official full-time show (via YouTube).
There was only one facet that Jeremy Doku lacked in his display
As Neil Lennon rightly said, Jeremy Doku was tremendous against Burnley and arguably the best player on the pitch throughout the contest for Manchester City.
It seems like the Belgian wideman is on a mission to make life hell for every right-back in the Premier League and Vitinho was his latest target.
However, Doku’s final ball was far from its best today, as his delivery with his left foot was anything but on the money while his decision-making at times was rather underwhelming.
On a night when Jeremy Doku put in a world-class showing, he should have had an assist or two to his name but one cannot have too many complaints about his display as he was typically influential for the Sky Blues.
