If he had the chance, Erling Haaland has claimed that he would love to play with Vincent Kompany and David Silva.
Being a lifelong Manchester City fan, the 23-year-old must have hugely admired the legendary pair during their time at the club.
Both Kompany and Silva have statues outside the Etihad Stadium, having been at City since the start of their domination, as the pair joined during periods when the club were far from title contention.

Unfortunately for Haaland, he did not get a chance to train, play and share a dressing room with either.
But if he did, Erling Haaland has revealed that he would have loved to play with Vincent Kompany and David Silva.
“I like [Vincent] Kompany. I would love to play him. Then, you also have David Silva.”
“He was a baller. He would be perfect for me”, he said while speaking to the club’s official YouTube channel.

If Erling Haaland was in the same Manchester City team as Vincent Kompany and David Silva, it seems like he would gel with them instantly.
For starters, Haaland would appreciate their winning mentality, while the City legends would also acknowledge how outstanding his work ethic is.
Apart from that, the trident would all form a connection due to being leaders, both by example and based on how they commanded respect.
Erling Haaland, much like Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko would have also scored goals galore and won plenty of silverware alongside Vincent Kompany and David Silva.
Thankfully, Haaland has had the opportunity to play with other City legends like De Bruyne, Gundogan, Ederson, Walker and Bernardo.
