Pundit John Giles has claimed that one current Premier League player would become a top goalscorer if he joined Manchester City.
With 28 Premier League games played in this campaign, the Citizens have found the back of the net 63 times, leaving only Arsenal (70) and Liverpool (65) with more goals.
Despite that, one pundit has suggested that the Manchester club could have the power to turn one current Premier League striker into a top-quality marksman.
Pundit says City could transform teenage striker to top player

Speaking in a recent video shared on the Off The Ball TikTok channel, Giles had this to say about Evan Ferguson and what he could do if he played for City.
He said: “If you made the comparison, if he played for Manchester City, for example, I think he’d be up there scoring with the best.”
The 19-year-old joined Brighton & Hove Albion back in the 2021 January transfer window from Bohemians.
After scoring 18 goals in 39 appearances for Brighton’s U21 side, the striker has gone on to make 64 appearances for the senior side, finding the back of the net 16 times.
Three of those goals came during the Seagulls’ 3-1 win over Newcastle United earlier in the current Premier League season.
Despite that, the teenager has only scored two goals in 22 league appearances since his hat-trick against the Magpies.
However, with 20 of his 33 attempts at goal being on target Ferguson has the highest percentage of shots on target (60.6%) in the Brighton squad out of players who have had more than two shots throughout the campaign.
Bearing in mind how Pep Guardiola’s side have the second-highest rate of shot-creating actions per 90 minutes and goal-creating actions per 90 minutes in the league this season, this makes it easy to see why Giles thinks Ferguson could become a consistent goalscorer if he played for City.
Given how young the Brighton striker still is, he could well go on to become the sort of striker that Giles thinks he could be, regardless of whether he ends up ever playing for City or not.
