Gary Neville has lavished praise upon Manchester City superstar Jack Grealish.
Speaking to the Webby and O’Neill YouTube channel, the popular pundit gave his two cents on the former Aston Villa captain.
Gary Neville firmly believes that regardless of the price tag, Manchester City attacker Jack Grealish is a top player.
Gary Neville raves about ‘bloody good’ Jack Grealish
Signed for a record £100 million (Sky Sports) fee at the time, whether the 27-year-old, branded as ‘phenomenal’ by Stephen Clemence was worth such an outlay still polarises opinion.
While some believe Grealish showcased his worth during the treble-winning season, others believed he will never be able to justify the fee.
Gary Neville has said that regardless of the fee, Jack Grealish has shown that he is a cracking player.

“City paid £100 million for Jack Grealish and they ended up winning a treble with him in season two. Now, to be fair, his numbers aren’t unbelievable in terms of assists and goals. But when you look at his performance level, you look at him on Sunday out on that pitch, he’s a bloody good player”, he said.
Gary Neville continued to laud Jack Grealish, saying, “You might not think he’s £100 million but I tell you, he’s a hell of a player. His way in which he can take the ball, passes it, looks after it, wins fouls, takes people on, he’s a good player, Jack Grealish. Whether you like it he’s a £100 million or don’t like he’s £100 million, he fits into City’s style of play.”
What Jack Grealish lacks in numbers, he makes up for in influence
As Gary Neville said, while Jack Grealish does not get impressive goal and assist numbers, his influence on games is such that it becomes a non-issue.
Whether it be at Villa or at City, Grealish has showcased that he can impact any game against any side in the world.
The Englishman has never been one to put numbers on the board but when it comes to grabbing a game by the scruff of the neck, there are not many better than him in the business.
