Jordan Pickford has praised Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson for his ability to play the ball with his feet.
The two Premier League goalkeepers have been vital for their respective sides for a number of years now.
Now though, with the latest international break out of the way, the Everton shot-stopper has pinpointed one factor in Ederson’s game that he thinks puts him a cut above the rest.
Pickford hails Ederson’s footwork

Speaking in a recent video shared on the official Sky Sports Premier League Twitter account, which included a number of Premier League players building their ultimate top-flight player based on who has the best feet, upper body and head, Pickford had this to say when asked which goalkeeper he feels has the best feet in the division.
He said: “The feet of Ederson. He’s a joke with his feet.”
City signed the Brazilian back in the 2017 summer transfer window from Benfica in a deal worth £35m. Since then, prior to this afternoon’s Premier League outing against West Ham United, Ederson has made 294 appearances for the Citizens across all competitions, keeping 141 clean sheets in the process.

Pickford isn’t the only person to praise the 30-year-old ability to move the ball around the pitch with his feet, as Guardiola said back in February that Ederson is the best goalkeeper he has ever seen in terms of his footwork.
In fact, across his six previous Premier League campaigns, the shot-stopper has made seven key passes.
With all of that in mind, it’s easy to see why Pickford has highlight Ederson as being particularly impressive with the ball at his feet compared to other goalkeepers in the Premier League.
