Speaking to City’s official YouTube channel, the pundit was quizzed about her views on the £55 million (CBS Sports) man’s start to life at City.

Branded as ‘clever’ by Pep Guardiola, the Belgian winger has already become a fan favourite at the Etihad Stadium.
Unsurprisingly so, considering the 21-year-old has been absolutely electric, beating defenders for fun, always taking the right decision in the final third and being one of the fastest players in the world.
Now, Steph Houghton has lauded Manchester City sensation Jeremy Doku.
“He’s fast, isn’t he? Not too bad to sign a winger who’s as quick as him”, she joked.
Steph Houghton elaborated on why Jeremy Doku has looked like the real deal at Manchester City, saying, “I think he’s been really impressive. It was in that West Ham game where you kind of see what he’s really about.”
“I think his second game, to be able to score a goal like that when we needed him to go and score, for me, from what we’ve seen, a tiny bit of him, I think he’s got so much potential.”
Jeremy Doku is not as raw as many assumed
Steph Houghton is bang on the money and it is worth pinpointing that when Manchester City signed Jeremy Doku, there were many that believed he was still far too raw to have a significant impact.
A certain section of fans seemed to believe that while Doku was immensely talented, his game needed polishing and tons of it to make the cut at City.
But the former Rennes wideman has proven such suggestions wrong to say the least.
More than Jeremy Doku’s incredible dribbling and pace, what has stood out the most is his intelligence.
Time and again, Doku exactly knows when to go past his man and when to pass the ball while his decision-making in the final third is often selfless and the best choice, making him the dream Guardiola winger already.
