Micah Richards has revealed that Manchester City goalkeeper, Scott Carson, refuses to speak to him.
Across his playing career, Richards featured in five games with Carson, three being for England’s U21 side and two for the senior England team.
One of those two senior games came back in 2007 where England were beaten 3-2 by Croatia in the group stage of the Euro 2008 qualifiers.
During that game, Carson spilled a shot from Niko Kranjcar that ended up in the back of the net to put Croatia 1-0 up, which is a story that Richards has spoken about in the media before.
Now though, the pundit has revealed what the result of sharing that story has been for him in terms of his current relationship with Carson.
Richards reveals frosty relationship with Carson

Speaking in a recent edition of Match of the Day: Top 10, Richards had this to say when asked about goalkeeping errors he had experienced in his career.
He said: “Scott Carson, but we’ve done that story, we’re not talking about that. He’s not spoken to me since.
“Every time I see him at City, I look at him he just avoids eye contact with me. He’s not said a damn thing, it’s awkward. It’s like [Alan] Shearer and [Roy] Keane whenever they see each other.”
With Carson apparently not being eager to converse with Richards, it seems that he is a bit salty about having the pundit share the story of his England mistake.
However, given how long ago it took place, it seems odd that he would keep a grudge about it for so long, especially with him having a reputation for being a very likeable and approachable figure in the City dressing room.
Moving forward, if there is a frosty relationship between the pair, it’d be nice if they can start talking again and put it behind them.
