Don Hutchison believes Phil Foden is the “same” kind of player as Cole Palmer.
It seems like Manchester City tend to produce a similar profile of young players consistently; left-footed technicians capable of playing in midfield, out wide and even as false nines.
Phil Foden and Cole Palmer are notable examples but James McAtee, who is currently on loan at Sheffield United can also be boxed into the same category.

The Manchester City midfielder is also better than the Chelsea winger at playing at different tempos of a game.
As a creator as well, Foden is perhaps on another level to Palmer.
Cole Palmer also lacks as much pace when carrying the ball as his former City teammate.
Palmer, however, is a more direct player than Foden. While both players are quite different, there is no arguing that
