Former Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott heaped praise on Bernardo Silva today during the match with Manchester United.
The Portuguese featured from the start of the 3-0 win at Old Trafford.
It was a seriously comfortable afternoon for City.
Pep Guardiola’s side played some lovely slick football at times.
Erling Haaland converted a penalty in the first-half, after play was stopped following a foul by Rasmus Hojlund on Rodri.
Haaland then grabbed a second, after brilliant work from Jack Grealish and Bernardo. The Norwegian then turned provider for Phil Foden.
One of City’s best performers on the day was Bernardo, and Lescott was so impressed with the Portuguese technician…
Joleon Lescott raves over Bernardo Silva during Manchester United vs Manchester City
Lescott was on punditry duty for City’s Matchday Live show, and waxed lyrical about the 29-year-old.

He said: “Technically, he’s unreal. Some of the touches he does and the composure he shows. It looks so simple and effortless but it’s so hard to receive the ball in the way he does.
“Even in this final third I think, through the stages of the pitch, he’s the most comfortable player we have in possession.”
Bernardo showed fantastic technical quality today, and linked up especially well with Jack Grealish on the left.
He often took up positions on the inside left, and was always supporting the England international.
Bernardo a class act
What a performance this was from Bernardo, who continues to show how important it was for the club to keep him in the summer.
There is potential for the £300,000-a-week man to leave next summer and if that happens it will be a devastating blow to lose him.
There are few, if any, players like Bernardo in the world.
He’s an incredible technician, but also an absolute workhorse.
United were famously linked with Bernardo before he made his move to City in the summer of 2017, and watching him today must have made Red Devils fans feel sick.
