Oasis are officially back, and there won’t be many more excited than fans of Manchester City, who are notoriously synonymous with the rock band.
Get your bucket hats ready, your best parka on, and your mod haircut sorted – because one of the greatest bands of all time is back.
On Tuesday morning, news broke that sent Manchester City fans into a frenzy – Liam and Noel Gallagher have announced an Oasis reunion and a UK world tour starting in July 2025.
This marks the first time the Gallagher brothers will share the stage since 2009, bringing an end to their 15-year hiatus and long-standing feud.
The legendary Manchester group has always been at the heart of the culture surrounding Manchester City and the Etihad Stadium. As die-hard City fans, the Gallaghers have previously performed at Maine Road and are often spotted at fixtures (not together of course!)
This is why City fans aren’t going to want to miss out on tickets, with many wondering… how much will they be?

How much are Oasis tickets going to be?
According to the Manchester Evening News, tickets are set to cost over £100, near the £140 per mark, although this has not yet been confirmed by the band.
This is based on previous gigs from the Gallagher brothers with their respected ventures away from their first-ever group.
Liam’s tickets for his last solo tour started from around £53 and went up to £108 for the best seats in the house.
As for Noel with his High Flying Birds gig at Robin Park in Wigan in July – tickets started from £59.50 and went up to £110.
The Oasis reunion gigs are guaranteed to be a sellout, so could far exceed these prices for the latest tour that has been revealed.
Why aren’t Oasis playing at the Etihad Stadium?
Although unconfirmed, the main reason why Oasis aren’t playing at the Etihad Stadium is likely down to the capacity.
The Manchester shows are taking place at Heaton Park, which has an overall capacity of 80,000 people. The Etihad can instead only house 53,400.
The sheer volume of fans wanting tickets ultimately means that Heaton Park is the viable option, and they certainly wouldn’t want it at Old Trafford!
