Manchester City are back in Club World Cup action this week against Juventus and here is everything you need to know about the fixture.

It’s been an enjoyable Club World Cup campaign for Manchester City so far, with Pep Guardiola able to run the rule over new signings Rayan Cherki, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Claudio Echeverri is also getting the chance to impress and scored his first goal for the club with a great free kick last time out.

Having won both their games so far – 2-0 over Wydad AC and 6-0 against Al Ain – City have already pocketed millions in prize money and are through to the last 16.

Juventus lead Group G by one goal but whoever emerges victorious as the two giants meet in the final group game will finish top and potentially have an easier last 16 opponent.

Manchester City vs Juventus team news

The only downside to the tournament so far was Rico Lewis’ late red card in the opening game.

The right-back has seen his suspension extended to three games due to the severity of the tackle, meaning he will also miss Juventus and the last 16 tie.

Elsewhere, Echeverri is sidelined after his bright cameo vs Al Ain and Mateo Kovacic is not in the squad due to injury as well.
