Manchester City take on Nottingham Forest this weekend in a match that is surprisingly massive in the race for a Champions League place.
It’s been a massively disappointing season for Manchester City and, even if it does end with an FA Cup trophy, the drop off in the Premier League has been remarkable.
So much so that Pep Guardiola’s side are in danger of not finishing in the top four if results don’t start getting consistent in the remaining games of the season.
In contrast, Nottingham Forest have enjoyed a sensational campaign and have a great chance of qualifying for the Champions League themselves.
Forest currently sit third, a point above City, so this fixture is unexpectedly vital for both clubs.

Forest vs Man City team news
It seems like a game can hardly pass by this season without City suffering yet another injury setback and Nathan Ake became the latest casualty this week.
The Dutch defender has been plagued by injuries this season and could now miss the rest of the campaign after having surgery to fix a fractured foot.
Elsewhere, City remain without Rodri, John Stones, Manuel Akanji and Oscar Bobb.
Forest are only without second choice goalkeeper Carlos dos Santos Pereira.

Predictions
They may have been against Tottenham and Plymouth but City have managed to win their last two fixtures, which counts as a bit of a confidence-builder in this dreary season.
It also helps that City comfortably defeated Forest back in December, 3-0, even when they were in a great run of form.
So City can be optimistic but Forest won’t go down without a fight on home soil and will be desperate to keep hold of their position in the table.
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Manchester City.
