Manchester City return to European action when they travel to Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League on Tuesday.
It’s been a difficult few weeks for Manchester City with the gruelling schedule starting to pick up pace and crucial players falling to injury.
Rodri is the biggest casualty and the crucial midfielder will miss the entire season after suffering an ACL and meniscus injury.
Pep Guardiola’s side will be aiming to put all that behind them on Tuesday and pick up their first win in the new-look Champions League after drawing with Inter in their opening match.

“Hopefully after the international break he [Kevin] will be back,” he said.
“Everybody is ready – we will put out the best team possible to compete and beat them.”

Prediction
Slovan are one of the lowest ranked sides in the Champions League and lost their opening match in the competition to 5-1 Celtic.
City might be lacking rhythm at the moment as they get used to life without Rodri but they should have little issue in dispatching the Slovakians, even if they are the away side and name a weakened XI.
However, you wouldn’t put it past the Blues to concede a goal.
Prediction: Slovan Bratislava 1-6 Manchester City
