Micah Richards has admitted that he misses a player Manchester City sold four years ago now.
City are known for being happy to let players leave for the right fee but that does not change the fact that top performers have departed the club in recent years.
Last summer, Ilkay Gundogan, Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte bid farewell to the treble-winners, who would likely start for a majority, if not every other Premier League club.
Some would argue that the trio have been missed by Pep Guardiola’s men but at the same time, they are still with a strong chance of winning the treble once again this season.
Micah Richards admits he still misses Leroy Sane at Manchester City
However, on BBC’s Match of the Day: Top 10 show, Micah Richards admitted that he misses Leroy Sane at Manchester City.

“He was devastating, wasn’t he?”, he said.
“I do miss him at City though.”
“Yeah, he’s come back into form. He had a bad injury, didn’t he?”
“Really good.”
Micah Richards evidently rates Leroy Sane extremely highly, naming him as the third-greatest German player to have ever played in the Premier League.
Leroy Sane is the kind of player any fanbase would miss if he left their club
During his time at the Etihad Stadium, Sane was one of the most entertaining players to watch in the league.
For that reason alone, one can understand why Micah Richards misses watching Leroy Sane in a Manchester City shirt.
The German international was much more of a natural winger at City than he is at Bayern Munich as well, constantly using his graceful dribbling and raw pace to skin right-backs.
With how young Sane was at the time as well, fans would perhaps enjoy witnessing such a mercurial talent have the impact he did.
Leroy Sane was uninhibited and he made the most of the freedom he was afforded at Manchester City by being an incredible entertainer and more importantly, a match-winner, which is perhaps why many like Micah Richards long for the days when he donned sky blue.
