Paul Merson has shared an early prediction for Manchester City’s upcoming Premier League match against Fulham.
Their previous outing saw them pick up a dramatic 2-1 victory over Sheffield United, making it three league wins out of three.
With the treble winners now looking to make it four out of four this weekend as they welcome Marco Silva’s side to the Etihad Stadium, one pundit has shared his thoughts on how this match could pan out.
Merson drops City prediction for Fulham clash

Written in his latest column for Sportskeeda previewing this weekend’s latest round of Premier League fixtures, Merson had this to say about how he feels City’s match against Fulham will go.
He said: “I don’t see Manchester City slipping up like Arsenal or Chelsea tend to do. I see Manchester City putting Fulham to bed without any drama this Saturday.”

So far this season, Fulham have had a mixed start in terms of results, beating Everton 1-0 way from home on the opening day, which was then followed by a 3-0 defeat to Brentford at Craven Cottage before last weekend’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal.

Having conceded five goals across those opening three games of the campaign, the west London side will not be comforted by the fact that City currently have the second-highest total of shots at goal (60) and shot-creating actions (114) in the league.
With that in mind, and the fact that Pep Guardiola’s have only conceded one goal in their three league games, it’s easy to see why Merson thinks City will continue their winning start to the season this weekend and do it in a less dramatic fashion than they did last time out.
