Alan Shearer is backing Manchester City to go on and win the Premier League title this season, with just two points currently separating the top three.
The current title race is shaping up to be the most exciting years, with Arsenal, Liverpool and City all looking strong right now.
The trio all won their games this weekend, with City edging past Everton after a resolute display from the Toffees.
Erling Haaland was at the double for City, leading to praise from Neil Lennon after the game, with Kevin De Bruyne particularly instrumental when he came on for the Citizens.
City are still the favourites with most bookmakers for the title even though they sit second at the moment, although they do have a game in hand.
For Shearer, City are still set to see the job through…
Alan Shearer makes title prediction as Manchester City seek fourth Premier League title

Shearer was speaking about the title race on the latest episode of the Rest Is Football podcast.
Liverpool beat Burnley 3-1 at Anfield on Saturday, and Arsenal enjoyed a statement win against West Ham United, beating them 6-0 at the London Stadium.
Despite good wins for Liverpool and Arsenal, Shearer reckons City are set to win a fourth straight title.
Asked if he had to be on one of the top three, he said: “I think I would stick with City. I looked at them on Saturday, they didn’t have one player that was out injured. They had a full squad to pick from.
“Pep Guardiola brought on Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Kyle Walker!
“They’ve been there, they know what they’re doing. We’ve said it so many times. It’s around about now, well they’ve already kicked in haven’t they. How it happens I don’t know, maybe the belief I guess. I would have to say City, although I think it’s going to be really tight.”
City are in a great position
Many are likely to agree with Shearer here – because City have obviously been in this position several times before and it is bound to serve them well here.
City chased down Arsenal last season and ended up winning it fairly comfortably.
But of course, the Gunners are stronger this term and Liverpool are also in the mix again this time, so it will not be easy at all.
But crucially, City have two world-class players back in Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland and if those two can stay fit then it would take a brave man to bet against City making history and becoming the first club to win a fourth straight Premier League title.
