Jamie Carragher has now made a fresh Premier League title prediction after Manchester City defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The 45-year-old was speaking on Sky Sports after the Manchester derby.

What’s the story?
Well, the Sky Sports pundit believes the Premier League title will now be won “comfortably” by Manchester City.
Carragher said: “I think City will win it quite comfortably, I don’t think Liverpool are ready yet.”
Anyone who watched Sunday’s Manchester derby and doesn’t think likewise has to be questioned.
Of course, Tottenham and Arsenal are currently ahead of the treble winners, but Ange Postecoglou, nor Mikel Arteta, are capable of doing what Pep Guardiola did at Old Trafford.
Manchester City completely dominated the Red Devils, and everywhere you looked, the Citizens had an elite footballer in position.
The likes of Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Julian Alvarez, Rodri and Bernardo Silva formed a fearsome front six, all of whom have the experience of winning a Premier League title.
That – coupled with their immense football ability – means Manchester City are the overriding favourites to win the Premier League title this season, despite Tottenham and Arsenal’s strong starts.
Who can stop Manchester City?
In our view, the only way Guardiola’s side fail to become the first club to ever win four consecutive Premier League titles would be in the event of an injury crisis.
Manchester City have already looked fairly normal this season when unable to call upon the likes of Silva, Stones and Rodri, but when everyone is available, the Citizens are simply unstoppable.
Arsenal and Tottenham will have to hope that Guardiola loses some more key players in addition to Kevin De Bruyne, while also ensuring their own stars stay fit, if the north Londoners are to have any chance of taking the Premier League title from Manchester City – in our view at least.
