Michail Antonio has made his prediction ahead of the much-awaited clash between Manchester City and Manchester United.

Instead of sitting on the fence, Michail Antonio named the team out of Manchester City and Manchester United who he sees winning on Sunday.

While John Stones was famously injured the last time around both teams faced each other at Old Trafford, such will not be the case in the upcoming contest, with Rodri also having returned from suspension.

Both clubs’ fortunes could not be any more different, with City currently just two points behind table-toppers Tottenham Hotspur while United are languishing in eighth place after an underwhelming start to the season.

As a result, it comes as no surprise to discover that Michail Antonio has made a prediction which involves Manchester City taking home the all-important three points against Manchester United.

“I’m going to go 2-0, Man City”, he simply said.

It would be one of the upsets of the season if Manchester City did not win

While form goes out of the window on derby day, Michail Antonio, like many expects Manchester City to get the business done against Manchester United in his prediction.

Even if the Sky Blues are not at their fluid best so far, they are coming off the back of a treble-winning campaign.

Besides, City are quite clearly the best team in the world.

As for Manchester United, the wheels seem to be falling off as Erik ten Hag’s project seems to have hit a real standstill.

Add that to the fact that even some of their best performers look out-of-sorts alongside certain injuries hampering them and on the surface of things, it seems like a no-contest.

With these factors in mind, surely Manchester City simply get the job done and move forward.
