Kyle Walker’s Manchester City future is very much up in the air right now.
The England international fell down the pecking order at the Etihad towards the end of last season, and now, Bayern Munich are in for him.
Walker has apparently agreed terms with Bayern on a move, but until a deal is done, this one hangs in the balance.
According to Dean Jones, speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, Walker has been offered a new deal by the reigning European champions, and as things stand, it is 50-50 as to whether or not he will stay.

50-50
Jones shared what he knows about the £50m man.
“They’re accepting of losing Cancelo, but Kyle Walker not so much. The problem is that by the end of the season Walker had some issues on his mind and questions about how things would look going forwards. Bayern have stepped forwards with a proposal to make him a huge part of his team next season, they want him to be one of the leaders in their dressing room,” Jones said.
“It really turned his head in a way Man City thought it wouldn’t. So while City have put a new contract on the table, from what I’m told it’s 50-50, but leaning towards this Bayern Munich deal.”

Shame
It would be a massive shame if Kyle Walker were to leave Manchester City at this juncture.
Yes, he’s not the most important player in the team anymore, but he’s a club legend at this point and he’s massive in the dressing room.
There’s a reason Bayern Munich want to make him one of their leaders, he’s a player who has been there and done it all, and with a number of young stars being ushered into this City side now, they need all the guidance they can get.
City need to fight to keep Walker at the Etihad, because his experience on and off the pitch is absolutely invaluable.
