James Trafford and Noni Madueke have been reacting to the latest Instagram post from Manchester City winger Cole Palmer.
The attacker scored one goal and provided two assists for the England U21 side in yesterday’s U21 European Championship semi-final clash against Israel which ended with a 3-0 scoreline and sealed England’s place in Saturday’s final.
Trafford and Madueke react to Palmer’s post

After the game, Palmer shared a post on his official Instagram account that included pictures of him in action against Israel and ones of him celebrating his goal.
This quickly grabbed the attention of several of his international teammates, including James Trafford, who responded with the words “chin up”, in reference to Palmer’s goal celebration where he held his hand under his chin.
Another player who commented on this post was Madueke, who said this about Palmer.
He said: “My family man.. too good.”

With the full 90 minutes under his belt, the winger made four key passes in total throughout the game, the joint-highest in the England side alongside Morgan Gibbs-White, who opened the scoring with Palmer getting his first assist of the night.
This overall performance ultimately earned the 21-year-old an impressive match rating of 8.9/10 from SofaScore, making him the highest-rated player on the day.
With all of that in mind, it’s easy to see why the City youngster has gathered such praise from his international teammates on Instagram.
Moving forward, if Palmer can deliver a similar sort of performance on Saturday against Spain in the final, he will give his side a great chance of winning the tournament.
