Manchester City made history once again last season by becoming the first side to win four Premier League titles in a row.
Pep Guardiola’s side did so by racking up 91 points in total, winning 28 of their 38 matches with seven draws and three defeats.
After the season ended, 14 members of the City squad were selected to represent their countries in the 2024 European Championship, more than any other side in the Premier League.

Jamie O’Hara says Jack Grealish needs to deliver a top performance this season
When reacting to Guardiola’s recent comments about how impressed he has been with the way Jack Grealish has presented himself in preseason training, Jamie O’Hara had this to say about the winger and his upcoming season in a recent video shared on the talkSPORT YouTube channel.
He said: “The problem Grealish has got is, right, they have got some top players there now.
“They have brought in [Jeremy] Doku, Phil Foden has come to the fore, he is a better player than Grealish, Bernardo Silva.
“Grealish has to be fit, he has to be on it. He needs to really, this season, he has got to set the world alight.”
Grealish has a point to prove
Having only started 10 of the 20 Premier League games he appeared in last season, the winger scored three goals and delivered just one assist.
Shortly after the season ended, Grealish admitted in an interview with The Athletic that he was struggling with injuries and off-the-field problems that led to him losing his confidence.
The fact that the three-time Premier League champion was not picked to be in the England squad for the Euros wouldn’t have helped improve Grealish’s confidence.
Taking all of that on board, it’s easy to see why O’Hara thinks Grealish needs to deliver the sort of performances this season that reminds everyone connected to City what he’s capable of and why they signed him in the first place.
