Manchester City have seen numerous players join and leave the club during their latest summer transfer window.
For example, in addition to seeing Sergio Gomez and Julian Alvarez wave goodbye to the Etihad Stadium, the Blues have also secured deals for Savinho and Ilkay Gundogan.
On the pitch, Pep Guardiola’s side have secured two victories from their first two matches of the Premier League campaign.
Despite that, a pundit has claimed that one big name in the City squad already has a problem on his plate.

Jason Cundy highlights Jack Grealish’s problem at Man City
After seeing Jeremy Doku and Savinho start both of City’s opening league games of the season, Jason Cundy had this to say in a recent edition of Premier League All Access when asked about what sort of role Jack Grealish could have in the team.
He said: “Well, opportunity knocks. Doku’s took it, Savinho’s been good.
“Obviously, Oscar Bobb picked up the injury as well, so that replacement has come straight in.
“You want to be given a chance and when you get in the first team, you take it. I thought Doku was excellent [in the] second half against Chelsea, you know, caused real problems.
“And Grealish, this is just not a new problem for him.”
Grealish has to take his opportunities this season
Last season saw the Englishman, who City paid a club record fee of £100m to sign back in 2021, feature in 20 Premier League games, starting just 10 of them.
This then led to him not being picked to represent England in the 2024 European Championship over the summer.
This isn’t the first time a pundit has highlighted the battle the winger will be facing to get regular playing time this season as Nigel Reo-Coker named Grealish as being under more pressure to succeed than any other player at City.
Now that Cundy has said how Doku and Savinho could cause a problem for Grealish in terms of him getting regular minutes this season, this further showcases how the winger will have to make the most of every chance he gets to impress on the pitch.
