Manchester City got back to winning ways in the Premier League and Jeremy Doku has talked up one of his ‘very reliable teammates’ after the victory over Fulham.
Manchester City beat Fulham 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium and it was an important result after draws against Arsenal and Newcastle United.
Mateo Kovacic was at the double for City after Fulham had taken the lead through Andreas Pereira.
The Cottagers had good chances to win at the Etihad but were wasteful, with Adama Traore perhaps the biggest offender.
City made their opponents pay, and it was Jeremy Doku who scored what turned out to be the winner.
It was a great cameo from Doku, but the Belgian was keen to talk about one of his teammates after the game.

This was a game that City could very easily have lost.
Fulham have been going well in the Premier League so far and look like they could perhaps challenge for the European places this season under Marco Silva.
Fulham made it an uncomfortable afternoon or City and created some very decent chances.
Traore might have had a hat-trick on another day, but he was denied a few times by Ederson, who more than played his part in yesterday’s win.
His contributions were not lost on Doku, who praised the Brazilian and his reliability after the game. He told mancity.com: “I don’t think there’s any doubts about how good he is as a keeper.
“He’s saved us a lot, not only in this game. But he’s always there to help us, even with the ball.
“He’s a very reliable goalkeeper, as I should say.”
Doku’s comments came just days after Peter Schmeichel suggested Ederson was better than Alisson and all other goalkeepers in the Premier League.
A big performance from Ederson
It has been a fairly indifferent start to the new season for Ederson, after all that talk about him potentially leaving for Saudi Arabia in the summer.
But there is no denying Ederson really stepped up against Fulham.
Had he not been on his game, this would have been a first defeat of the season for City, with Fulham creating a number of great chances.
£35 million signing Ederson is often praised for his distribution, passing range and calmness on the ball. But on Saturday he reminded everyone of his shot-stopping ability too.
Traore should undoubtedly have done better with his chances, but Ederson stood up to be counted for and he’s helped his side take three big points.
