Man City fans are patiently waiting to see what will happen with Joao Cancelo in the coming days – and the player has now left a rather cryptic message on his Instagram.

Cancelo featured for City during the pre-season tour of Asia.
But he was left out of the squad for the Community Shield with Arsenal.
And he was also then left out of the squad to face Burnley on Friday in their Premier League opener.
It is being reported that talks are ongoing with Barcelona.

Joao Cancelo makes cryptic Instagram post amid Man City exit talk
Yesterday, Cancelo made a post to his Instagram Story that has got some people talking.
So far this summer he has made a few interesting posts, given that there is speculation he will be leaving.
Yesterday he uploaded a clip from a City training session.
It is a bird’s eye view of an 11 vs 10 training game.
The clip shows Cancelo dribbling inside and then finishing clinically into the corner. He then appears to thread a ball through to a teammate through a defender’s legs.
He has captioned the clip ‘No one can hold back who is born to win’ (translated from Portuguese).
Cancelo situation will be interesting in the coming days
This message from Cancelo comes across as defiant.
It is like he is suggesting that he thinks he should be playing, and that he is currently being ‘held back’.
Well, it does not seem like he has a future at City under Pep Guardiola.
So he needs to leave but it’s just whether another club can offer what City want.
At the moment the talk is that Barcelona could land him. Hopefully they are in position financially to make a good offer.
