Jose Mourinho has revealed how Pep Guardiola must feel about some of the other clubs in the Premier League’s ‘Big Six.’

Having won the Premier League thrice, Mourinho could perhaps relate to how Guardiola must feel at the top.

While other teams like Chelsea and Manchester United continue to undergo tough times, City are cruising and do not look to stop anytime soon.

Mourinho reveals how Guardiola must feel about some ‘Big Six’ rivals

On TNT Sports, Jose Mourinho was initially quizzed about how he feels about the current state of some top Premier League clubs.

When asked about Chelsea, the Portuguese legend replied: “I have no idea.”

“I have no idea. Tottenham, I have an idea.”

On Tottenham, Mourinho said: “This is Tottenham. Always fighting to be fourth, which would be amazing, between the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, next season, Europa League, of course, they can win it. They look stable, they’re investing more, amazing club, amazing facilities, such a beautiful stadium, you can feel it.”

“Chelsea, I really don’t know.”

About Manchester United, he said: “A little improvement but more of the same.”

Jose Mourinho summed up his thoughts by briefly stating that Pep Guardiola must be delighted to see top Premier League teams undergoing rough patches.

“I think in this moment, Pep [Guardiola] laughs [at all] of the mess of all the other clubs.”

An advantage Pep Guardiola and Man City have had over the rest

Until recently, things at Arsenal also seemed quite uncertain — with Mikel Arteta also gradually coming into his own as a first-team manager.

Apart from Liverpool, there has been a volatility about the other clubs in the Premier League’s Big Six in recent years.

The same cannot be said about Manchester City, especially since they appointed Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho seemingly realise that is the case.

The £378,846-a-week man seems to have an unending desire for greatness and the same can be said about City as a club from top to bottom.

When an elite manager like Guardiola is at a club like City that matches his ambition, that is a recipe for success — a balance teams like Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United have struggled to find, as Mourinho implied.

As a result, the Sky Blues and their decorated manager have been a cut above the rest but now, Arsenal pose a serious threat to them.
