It was a great night for Manchester City at the PFA awards.

The club enjoyed an unforgettable season which ended with a Treble, and that success has been reflected at the PFA awards.

Last night, the winners of the Player of the Year and the Young Player of the Year were revealed.

City’s Erling Haaland won the main award, while Bukayo Saka – who praised Kyle Walker on the night – picked up Young Player.

And the Team of the Season for 2022/23 was also named.

It was dominated by City and Arsenal players, with Aaron Ramsdale, Kieran Trippier, John Stones, Ruben Dias, William Saliba, Martin Odegaard, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Saka, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland all making it in.

After the ceremony, some City players posted on social media – and Jude Bellingham was on hand to send his congratulations.

Three of the five players from City’s men’s side have posted on social media after last night’s event.

Kevin De Bruyne was not in attendance. He is believed to be elsewhere at the moment has he recovers from his hamstring injury.

And Rodri does not have social media.

Dias, Stones and Haaland have all posted.

Stones wrote: “PFA Team of the Year. A great feeling to know that my performances were recognised by my fellow players. Thank you to everyone that voted for me & here is to hopefully another successful season!”

Many commented including Jude Bellingham, who knows Stones well from England. He commented ‘Johnnyyy’ along with a flame emoji.

Bellingham also replied to a post from Haaland. The Norwegian wrote ‘Truly honoured. Thank you @the_pfa for this! #PFAawards #PFA50’, with Bellingham responding ‘Congrats bro’.

Nice to see from Bellingham

It is nice to see Bellingham send messages to Stones and Haaland.

He clearly has a great relationship with both players; Stones from the national team and Haaland obviously from their time at Borussia Dortmund together.

It is a shame that City didn’t sign Bellingham so that he would get to work with Stones and Haaland day in, day out.

But seemingly, the amazing 20-year-old just always had his heart set on Real Madrid.

But who knows, perhaps a move to the Etihad is not of the question at some point in the future.
