Manchester City have numerous players in their squad who have made hundreds of appearances for the club.
One of those players is Kyle Walker, who has racked up 302 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side across all competitions.
Having been at the Etihad Stadium since 2017, the Englishman has shared the training ground, the dressing room and the pitch with a wide range of players at the Manchester club.
In fact, Walker has now named one of his former City teammates as being rather uninspiring on the training pitch compared to how he used to play in games.

Kyle Walker names Sergio Aguero as the worst trainer ever
When asked in a recent edition of You’ll Never Beat Kyle Walker who is the worst trainer he’s ever seen in his career, the Englishman said this.
He said: “[Sergio] Aguero – worst.
“Pre-season turned up. We’ve got Tottenham. So my first game for City was against Tottenham. So I’m buzzing for this game, obviously. I’ve just left. Really want to prove, prove myself and my training.
“But he just wasn’t bothered. He wasn’t bothered one bit, but he’s the only player that I’d say was a really bad trainer, but he could turn it on on a Saturday.
“As soon as that Saturday came, you knew that you were getting a goal, always providing some sort of magic.
“And some players are just like that. I think maybe, I don’t know, he was saving his energy. He was jet-lagged, I’m going to say, but he was, he was horrific. That day, I’d never seen someone train so bad.”
Aguero knew how to impact games when it mattered
This isn’t the first time someone connected to the Manchester club has said something similar to Walker, as Micah Richards said back in December that Aguero was terrible in his first training session at City.
However, having scored 260 goals in 390 appearances for the Blues during his time at the club, it’s clear that his lacklustre efforts in training didn’t have too much of an impact on how he performed in matches when it mattered.
While it may not be the best example for young footballers to follow, Aguero proved that if you had the talent, you didn’t always need to give 100% in training to be one of the best players in the world.
