Manchester City booked their passage into the FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday night by beating Everton 2-0.
On Sunday, City sat back and watched two other FA Cup ties take place, with rivals Manchester United in action.
The Red Devils travelled to take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium – and ran into a former City player on a mission.
Striker Kelechi Iheanacho opened the scoring as he capitalised on Fred’s poor pass, only for Mason Greenwood to equalise.
Youri Tielemans fired Leicester back in front in the second half, and Iheanacho then added his second to seal a 3-1 win.
Iheanacho dumped United out of the competition, almost four years since leaving City for a move to Leicester.
Iheanacho remains popular in the City fanbase, and even more so after his brace against United as fans celebrate him ‘bleeding blue’ even now.
Others called his performance a ‘masterclass’, loving how he ‘absolutely destroyed’ United to show that he is still a blue.
