Manchester City are reportedly eyeing a summer transfer move for Benjamin Sesko.
The previous summer transfer window saw City sign one of RB Leipzig’s young stars in the shape of Josko Gvardiol, who the Citizens paid £77m to land.
Now though, with the next summer transfer window on the horizon, the Manchester club have their eyes on another young talent currently making a name for himself at the German side.
City eyeing Sesko transfer

According to a recent report from Bild, City, as well as Liverpool, Arsenal, AC Milan and Barcelona, are watching Sesko ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
The report also adds that the striker has a release clause in his contract at Leipzig worth €50m (£42m).
After scoring 29 goals in 79 games for RB Salzburg, the 20-year-old made his move to Leipzig during the previous summer transfer window, where he now has a contract that isn’t set to expire until 2028.
Since then, the Slovenian has found the back of the net 10 times in 28 appearances across all competitions.
The 20-year-old has previously been likened to current City striker Erling Haaland, to which Sesko had this to say about it.
He said: “Such comparisons motivate me and give me energy. They do not represent pressure. I will listen and learn so I can be even better than he is. My teammates at the club tell me that Haaland and I are very similar, especially in terms of speed. Most of them even tell me that I’m better than him.”
Described by Christopher Vivell as having “enormous potential” as a player, Sesko could be an exciting signing for City to make.
However, with them already having the likes of Haaland and Julian Alvarez in their squad, we feel unsure that a move for the Leipzig starlet is completely necessary.
