Tijjani Reijnders was the star of the show for Manchester City as they cruised past Palermo in their latest 3-0 victory.
The Manchester City midfielder came on at half-time but only took 14 minutes to get on the scoresheet, getting on the end of a pass from Savinho by rifling the ball into the back of the net.
The Dutchman doubled his tally after a brilliant bit of interplay between himself, Savinho and Divine Mukasa to pass the ball into the back of the net.
As Tijjani Reijnders starred against Palermo, Manchester City fans were full of praise for the former AC Milan midfielder.

One Manchester City fan compared Reijnders’ goalscoring instincts against Palermo to Frank Lampard’s, as he wrote: “Bit of Lampard to Reijnders’ movement!”
Another City supporter lauded the 27-year-old’s movement by likening it to Ilkay Gundogan’s in his prime, claiming: “Reijnders has that prime Gundogan movement, this will be a POTY [PFA Player of the Year] level player this season.”
A third Manchester City fan explained that due to how Reijnders seemingly pops up out of nowhere inside the box to score goals, he is such a threat, writing: “Reijnders is so dangerous because he just spawns into the box out of nowhere.”
A fourth Sky Blues fan demanded an additional £30 million to be paid to AC Milan as Reijnders’ £48 million fee already looks like a bargain for City, stating: “Tijjani Reijnders, unreal signing, send AC Milan another £30 million, what a steal.”
Another supporter reacted to the Dutch international’s second goal by simply writing: “Good grief, Reijnders is just sensational, isn’t he? Never felt like he was going to miss that chance.”
Finally, a sixth Manchester City fan admitted that he cannot wait to watch more of Reijnders in the Premier League next season as he looks like a top signing, claiming: “Reijnders is one smart operator, very, very excited to watch him in the Prem.”
The Zwolle-born technician has already made an excellent impression on the supporters, which will give him a boost of confidence to shine against Wolves if he is given a start by Pep Guardiola.
