Manchester City succumbed to a second successive defeat in the Premier League as they lost 2-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Rayan Ait-Nouri started proceedings against the Seagulls and ultimately, the biggest highlight from the Algerian is him being darted past by Brajan Gruda before the German scored the winning goal.

The Manchester City left-back did not have his finest outing as he was dispossessed on several instances, did not provide much in attack and all in all, had a rough game.

City fans admitted Ait-Nouri had a poor game against Brighton as they pinpointed their worries.

Man City fans admit Rayan Ait-Nouri was poor vs Brighton

One Manchester City fan admitted that Ait-Nouri is poor defensively after his latest outing against Brighton, writing: “He’s another left-back we bought who cannot defend, I don’t know how we do it?”

A second City supporter claimed the Algerian looks too easy to play against, stating: “Ait-Nouri is so lightweight. Please never buy from Wolves again.”

A third Manchester City fan admitted Ait-Nouri had a shocker against Brighton, writing: “Ait-Nouri has been so, so bad.”

Another Sky Blues fan echoed the sentiment as he simply wrote: “Ait-Nouri is having a hall of shame performance.”

A fifth supporter admitted that the former Wolves defender was woeful, claiming: “Poor defensive performance from Ait-Nouri (especially in duels). Not strong enough in 1v1s, too easily bypassed. That’s the word: Poor.”

Finally, a sixth Manchester City fan also admitted that Ait-Nouri was one of the visitors’ worst players against Brighton, as he stated: “Good: -Rodri 90′ [minutes], [James] Trafford bounce back, [Oscar] Bobb/[Omar] Marmoush wing pairing. Bad- Ait-Nouri stinker, lack of impact off the bench, just sloppiness, [Matheus] Nunes bozo gene still present.”

The 24-year-old must step up his game or risk being dropped after the international break.
