Manchester City are set to resume their 2024/25 season this weekend following the latest international break.

Prior to the November break, City lost four matches on the bounce, which is something that had never happened before under Pep Guardiola.

During this period – which Bernardo Silva called a “dark place” for City – the club had to deal with various injury and fitness issues involving numerous figures from the squad.

With this weekend seeing the champions take on Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium, a significant injury update has come to light which quickly led to many City fans sharing their reactions.
