Manchester City have lost their latest Premier League game against Liverpool at Anfield.
Manchester City fell to a 2-0 defeat against the Reds, in a result that will surprise very few people.
It was a familiar story as in recent weeks. City showed a real fear against Liverpool, and made defensive errors.
Liverpool dominated the first-half, and in truth should have been out of sight. They went in 1-0 up after a goal by Cody Gakpo, brilliantly set up by Mo Salah.
City were just second-best all over the pitch, and barely created anything all afternoon.
In the second-half, City probed a bit more but could not breach a backline that had a rock-solid Virgil van Dijk in it.
There were very few positives at all today. Perhaps the cameo of Jeremy Doku was a small one. But a lot of fans have been talking about Kevin De Bruyne, and how little game time he got today.
Man City fans absolutely baffled by Kevin De Bruyne’s game time v Liverpool

The situation with De Bruyne has been a strange one in recent weeks.
The Belgian has actually been back in training for over a month now, after recovering from an adductor injury he sustained against Inter.
De Bruyne made his return to action against Sporting CP in the Champions League last month. Coming into the Liverpool game, he had made four appearances off the bench.
On social media, fans were left baffled by De Bruyne only getting 15 minutes or so against Liverpool when City lack threat for most of the match.
Something feels off with De Bruyne
Guardiola recently said De Bruyne told him he was pain-free before the game with Tottenham, but we still aren’t seeing him start games.
Something really does feel off with this situation, because City are crying out for his creativity right now.
We are seeing the team have major difficulty breaking teams down, and we know the Belgian is a master at picking the lock.
So the fact he still isn’t starting games, despite having been back in training for weeks and having made substitute appearances, is really odd.
