Manchester City reportedly feel Erling Haaland may now be set to stay at the club for ‘at least’ four seasons, rather than the three as per the original plan.
The Times have produced an article about the 22-year-old superstar, ahead of tonight’s huge Champions League clash with Real Madrid.

Haaland has been in red-hot form all season.
The striker was always going to score goals in this City team. But few really imagined he’d do so quite as frequently as he has.
It’s 51 and counting for the season for City. And fans are hoping he will add to that tally over the two legs with Real Madrid.
Madrid will be looking to stand firm, against a player they have long admired and still hope to land in the future.
Real’s interest in Haaland is mentioned in The Times’ article.
The Spanish giants were in competition with City to sign him last summer. Ultimately, the draw of the Premier League proved decisive, and also the fact City needed a number nine.
Haaland made the move to Manchester, and has been a resounding success so far in England.

Interestingly, The Times touch on how much Haaland genuinely likes being at City after his first 10 months at the club.
He has massively appreciated how he has been received by supporters. And apparently, there is now an acceptance Haaland could stay for at least four seasons at the club.
The original plan was for Haaland to stay for three seasons. He did pen a five-year deal when he signed for City. But the talk was that he would be sold before getting to the end of it.
Erling Haaland clearly loves being at Manchester City and hopefully his feelings won’t change, as report claims he could stay at least four seasons
City fans know Real Madrid will always be there lurking for Haaland.
Perhaps one day he will move to the Bernabeu. But it is starting to feel that that won’t happen for several years yet.
This update from the Times is positive.

Haaland is clearly loving life with City. He’s surrounded by world-class players and coached by the best in the business in Pep Guardiola.
He has the chance to win many trophies, both with City and individually.
A lot could change over time. But certainly right now, the thought of Haaland staying for at least four seasons at the Etihad Stadium is satisfying.
