Manchester City could look a lot different next season.
There has already been significant change at the Etihad Stadium after a busy winter transfer window, in which over £150m was spent to bring Omar Marmoush and Nico Gonzalez to Manchester, who followed Vitor Reis and Abdukodir Khusanov in linking up with Pep Guardiola.
However, with four defeats in six games across all competitions since the end of the transfer window, there is still work to be done at Manchester City in terms of recruitment.

Any new signings will need opportunities to play, and with a squad overhaul on the agenda this summer, the Citizens have now told Jack Grealish and six others to leave.
Manchester City ask seven big names to depart
A story from Sacha Tavolieri for Sky Sports now states that Manchester City have asked Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Ilkay Gundogan and Ederson to leave along with the £100m England international.
It is said that Guardiola feels he has already got the maximum he can out of these seven players, and believes they will never return to their previous level, hence why their respective entourages have been contacted about the decision.

Manchester City have requested that new clubs are found for these players as soon as possible, in order for Hugo Viana to have the maximum time to sign replacements.
Andrea Cambiaso, Ousmane Diomande, Samuele Ricci and Florian Wirtz – who Manchester City have already contacted – are named as targets for the Citizens, with plenty of groundwork done on these deals.
Manchester City also like Bruno Guimaraes of Newcastle.
How much will Manchester City save in wages if Jack Grealish and others leave?
Manchester City are already one of the richest clubs on the planet without offloading these seven players, but if they are sold, Viana could have a vast amount of financial resource to work with.
| Player | Salary |
| Kevin De Bruyne | £400,000-a-week |
| Bernardo Silva | £300,000-a-week |
| Jack Grealish | £300,000-a-week |
| John Stones | £250,000-a-week |
| Ilkay Gundogan | £230,000-a-week |
| Mateo Kovacic | £150,000-a-week |
| Ederson | £100,000-a-week |
| TOTAL | £1.73m-a-week |
As you can see, Manchester City have asked some of their highest earners to leave this summer, which should make for plenty of wriggle room on the salary bill should they all find new clubs.
With a chance to work as part of a rebuild under Guardiola on offer, plus a significant salary, Viana should have no issues convincing players to join Manchester City this summer.
