Manchester City are reported to be one of several clubs taking an interest in highly rated Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber.
The Dutchman has Europe’s elite on his tail, after really impressing in recent months.
Feyenoord won the Eredivisie title last season and Timber played a key role, making 24 appearances in the league. He made a further seven appearances in cup competitions.
This season, Timber has already been heavily involved for Feyenoord, playing nine games. He’s scored one goal and made three assists.
Quinten is the twin brother of Jurrien, who completed a summer move to Arsenal from Ajax for around £38 million all in.
Manchester City like Quinten Timber
90min have reported this morning that City are keen on Timber.

But there is a fair amount of competition for the 22-year-old.
Apparently, Timber is also on the radars of Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, all of whom have sent scouts to watch him.
And Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco and Napoli are all said to have checked on him.
Timber is capable of playing a variety of midfield roles.
He is mostly a box-to-box operator. But he has the capacity to play in both defensive and advanced positions.
Timber one to keep an eye on
Timber is a player to keep an eye out for.
He has really impressed over in the Netherlands, and his stock is rising.
According to Total Football Analysis, Timber really stands out for his ball retention ability. They say: “He is an extremely difficult player to dispossess as a rival. Not only because of the exceptional technique.”

It is little wonder City have been linked, then.
Pep Guardiola has just brought in two more press-resistant players in Matheus Nunes and Mateo Kovacic, who has especially impressed.
It is a requirement for any player at City to be comfortable on the ball under pressure, and Timber appears to be just that.
