Erling Haaland sent a three-word response to Jack Grealish’s latest Instagram post.
After ending their latest season having won the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League, Manchester City’s squad and staff enjoyed over two days of celebrations, ending with a big parade through Manchester on Monday.
On Wednesday morning, Grealish shared a post on his official Instagram page that included numerous pictures from City’s win against Inter Milan in Istanbul.
This led to Haaland sharing a short but sweet message in response to the Englishman’s post in the comment section.
He said: “What a guy.”
Grealish and Haaland’s relationship
This hasn’t been the first time the two players have shared their admiration for each other as after lifting the Premier League trophy last month, Grealish revealed to Sky Sports that he has a great relationship with the striker and that this connection makes it easier for them to play together on the pitch.
Then, a few days later after Haaland picked up the FWA Player of the Year award, the 22-year-old said that Grealish is his best friend in football.
This further highlights how friendly the two have become despite only being teammates for one season.
However, in terms of their efforts on the pitch, with 40 games played together, they have only racked up four joint-goal contributions.
Therefore, this suggests that there is some room for improvement in that aspect of their game, which, we feel will improve moving forward having now had a full season together and having got to known each other on and off the pitch.
