Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly a big fan of Inter Milan star Alessandro Bastoni.
According to FC Inter News, the Citizens are very keen on the 23-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window.

But it is stated that his priority is to remain with the Italian giants and extend his contrcat.
Bastoni has been with Inter since 2017, when he joined from Parma. It was reported that they paid around £27 million to sign the centre-back.
The star has clocked up 150 appearances, scoring three goals and making 13 assists.
FC Inter News state that Guardiola likes the characteristics of Bastoni, as he is a technical central defender.
Interestingly, it is also stated that City have followed the player for two years. But they have never previously come forward to act on their interest.

Bastoni has apparently asked his agent to give ‘absolute’ priority to negotiating a contract extension with Inter.
He certainly has a big future in the game.
Former City manager Roberto Mancini, who worked with him when he was manager of Italy, previously said of Bastoni: “He is very young, he can improve a lot and become the new Bonucci or Chiellini, a great defender. There are many good players, you have to let them play.”
Man City seems to be up against it to sign Alessandro Bastoni
So City like Bastoni and have been on his tail for a while now.
But it does seem as though it’ll be difficult to sign him.
Based on the information from FC Inter News, he doesn’t seem too desperate to leave Inter.

But City should certainly just keep their eye on the situation.
If Inter fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League, his stance may change.
There is a chance Aymeric Laporte could leave the club in the summer having been linked away. That would be a blow, and Bastoni would make for a superb replacement as another technical left-footer.
