Manchester City are reportedly interested in Portugal international Raphael Guerreiro.
According to The Sun, City are keen on the 29-year-old who is leaving Borussia Dortmund as a free agent.

Guerreiro signed for the German giants back in 2016 from French club Lorient.
Over the years, he has been one of the best left-backs in the Bundesliga, and in more recent times he has developed the ability to play in central midfield.
Guerreiro is an attacking left-back by trade. But his technical ability does allow him to be comfortable in those central areas.
Apparently, City are now taking a look at Guerreiro.
The club are expected to offload Joao Cancelo this summer. And Sergio Gomez has also struggled to impress in his first season with City.

It is thought Pep Guardiola would like a more natural option for that left side.
This term, he has tended to alternate between Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji.
Guerreiro of course, used to play with Akanji and Erling Haaland at Dortmund.
Guerreiro had a good friendship with Haaland at Dortmund. The pair filmed a video for the club’s YouTube channel last year where they both had to write down answers to questions and try to get a match.
They were asked who the most annoying person in the squad was, with Haaland immediately drawing an arrow pointing to Guerreiro and smiling.
Guerreiro actually then wrote his own name, with both bursting into laughter.
Manchester City should be all over Raphael Guerreiro, he’s perfect for Pep Guardiola
Every City fan should be welcoming a transfer link to Guerreiro.
The star is absolutely a Pep Guardiola player, in that he’s technical, creative and speedy.
His ability to be comfortable in midfield surely makes him an ideal addition to City’s squad. We have seen this season Guardiola move John Stones into a hybrid role.
So perhaps it would be good to have another player capable of doing this. Stones’ injury record is far from perfect after all.

Guerreiro has just finished the 2022/23 season as the Bundesliga’s leading assist-maker with 12 (via Squawka).
He is clearly a very talented player and the fact he’s available on a free is actually quite surprising.
City’s last three additions from Dortmund turned out pretty good. So perhaps Pep will see about raiding the German giants for a fourth time, after he signed Ilkay Gundogan when he first arrived at the Etihad, and Akanji and Haaland last summer.
