Further details suggest that while Man City are interested in signing Bellingham, the player himself believes he would be better suited to Liverpool, due to their swift brand of football where midfielders drive forward with the ball rather than control games patiently.
However, it has been stated that Jurgen Klopp’s men may find it hard to compete financially to sign the England international, which may not be the case with the Premier League champions, who would be willing to splash the cash to sign the 19-year-old, who Pep Guardiola would like at the club.
With Ilkay Gundogan in the final year of his contract and Bernardo Silva constantly speculated with an exit, City will most certainly need a new addition in the middle of the park in the summer.
It’s not the end of the world
If Manc City do end up missing out on the arrival of Jude Bellingham to Liverpool, that isn’t the end of the world.
