Manchester City have reportedly set their valuation for Carlos Borges amid transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the club this summer.
The winger has had the likes of Nottingham Forest and more recently, West Ham United, linked with a potential transfer move for him during this current summer window.
Now, some behind-the-scenes information has emerged regarding the potential fee that the Citizens could look to pick up should they end up selling him.
City set valuation for Borges

According to a recent report from The Athletic, City apparently value Borges at £10m, which is presumably what they will look to pick up should a club make an approach to sign him before the summer window closes.
The 19-year-old joined City’s youth ranks back in 2014 from Sporting CP’s youth system. Since then, the 19-year-old has made 79 appearances for the Manchester club’s youth sides.

Across those games, Borges, who has been labelled as a “phenomenal” player by talent scout Jacek Kulig on Twitter, has scored 55 goals and provided 42 assists in all competitions, which highlights the clear attacking talent he has.
Last season saw the youngster find the net 29 times in 33 youth games as well as supplying 18 assists for his teammates, which makes it easy to see why he has clubs looking to sign him.
Even though he hasn’t had a taste of senior football yet, we feel that this apparent valuation is rather small for such a young player that knows how to score goals and make assists.
