Manchester City are currently working around the clock to complete a major signing before the summer transfer window shuts.
Pep Guardiola has already seen six new faces added to the books at the Manchester club over the summer, but the Premier League giants might not stop there, as Man City may need several stars replaced over the coming days.
Tottenham are pushing to sign Savinho, while Ederson has attracted major interest from Galatasaray, with it being a possibility that both leave the Etihad Stadium before Deadline Day.
If that happens, Guardiola will need replacements, and according to a new update, Man City are doing everything to complete a deal for a £26m star.

Man City do not want Gianluigi Donnarumma deal pushed back to January
A report out of France over the last 24 hours stated that Man City are willing to wait until January to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma from PSG, as the Premier League club are yet to agree a transfer fee with the Ligue 1 champions for the goalkeeper.
That is not believed to be the case with City said to be confident that they will seal a deal for the 26-year-old before the current transfer window shuts.
According to Alfredo Pedulla, Man City are willing to pay €30m (£26m) for the Italian star, with the possibility of bonuses being added on.
The Manchester club also have no plans for the transfer being pushed back to January, with City believed to be “working tirelessly” to bring Donnarumma to the Etihad Stadium.
It remains to be seen what happens over the coming days, but the biggest problem for Man City regarding the signing of the PSG star is that it hinges on Ederson leaving the Premier League club.

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s perfect record vs Man City
Man City expect to sign Donnarumma on Deadline Day, as that is when the Premier League club will get the best deal for the 26-year-old star.
There are many advantages to signing the Italian international over the coming days, with one being that City will not have to face one of the best goalkeepers in the world over the coming years.
Donnarumma has only ever faced Man City on two occasions and has won them both, conceding just two goals and keeping a clean sheet in one of the contests.
One of these matches occurred last season, a game fans of the Manchester club have quickly forgotten as the Premier League giants threw away a two-goal advantage to lose 4-2 at the Parc des Princes.
