This year’s fixture takes place one week later than the 2022 edition, where the Cityzens were actually beaten by Liverpool 3-1 on July the 30th 2022.

The Community Shield 2023 will kick off at 4:00 PM BST.
The FA originally scheduled it to kick off at 5:30 PM BST. But it later brought the kick-off time forward to 4:00 PM BST following consultation with all broadcasters, local authorities, police and the clubs involved amid widespread complaints by supporters.
