Manchester City are in derby action this Sunday as they head to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Premier League.

A number of City fans believe Gvardiol’s best position is at centre-back and suggested Pep Guardiola should keep playing him there.
One fan wrote on X after the Leicester game: “Gvardiol today at CB EXCELLENT, don’t let it go unnoticed.”
Another said: “Dias and Gvardiol are the best CB pairing – we being asking for this but sadly Ake couldn’t stay fit and Walker was washed.”
The praise kept coming, with one fan saying: “Bro, I prefer Gvardiol as a CB. We have to sign proper full-backs next season.”
One supporter wrote “petition to make Gvardiol a permanent CB”, while another said “Gvardiol needs to be a full time CB next season”.
Another wrote “I’ve seen enough, I want Gvardiol at CB” and one said “Gvardiol at CB reminds of Laporte with those passes, love it.”
How Josko Gvardiol fared at centre-back against Leicester
Gvardiol was very much in his element at centre-back against Leicester, putting in a classy performance in which he was in control throughout.

Admittedly, Gvardiol would be missed at left-back as he offers so much attacking threat, so there’ll be a lot of food for thought for Guardiola ahead of Sunday’s big derby clash.
