Manchester City fans have dismissed a report about Bernardo Silva that has claimed several clubs across Europe feel he could be offloaded.
That’s the claim from the Telegraph, who say the Portugal international has a number of admirers.
Silva, 26, was been with City since the summer of 2017 after he joined from AS Monaco.
Since his arrival he’s racked up over 200 appearances for the club and won 10 trophies, including three Premier League titles.
The star is a key member of Pep Guardiola’s squad.
His versatility, availability and quality on and off the ball make him hugely valuable in the eyes of the manager, and he is a firm favourite with the fans.
It is not out of the question that he could one day become a legend of the club.
The Telegraph’s report has reached City fans on social media, and the reaction has been pretty negative.
Silva is a crucial cog in a machine that has consistently won trophies under Guardiola.
Why clubs think he’d be transfer-listed or he would agitate for a transfer right now is something of a mystery.
