It has been reported that there is ‘quiet confidence’ within the Manchester City camp about getting a transfer for Jude Bellingham over the line.
Recently, it was claimed that the Borussia Dortmund midfielder’s father met Real Madrid at the end of February, as many suspected that his future perhaps lies in Spain.

However, it seems those at Manchester City are assured that they could win the transfer race to sign Jude Bellingham after all.
Manchester City confident about Jude Bellingham transfer
With Bernardo Silva constantly linked with an exit and a report claiming that the out-of-contract Ilkay Gundogan could be set to join Barcelona, a revamp in midfield could be on the cards at the Etihad Stadium.
It seems like City could be in for a big summer in any case, with Aymeric Laporte hinting at his departure on social media, Kyle Walker losing his place in the side as well as the aforementioned pair potentially leaving.
On the Jude Bellingham transfer saga, the Telegraph journalist Jason Burt tweeted saying that Manchester City fancy themselves to sign him.
“Quiet confidence at Man City that they can win this race”, he said.
In addition, in his report, Burt claimed that while the starting price to sign the Englishman is £125 million, the Sky Blues are prepared to pay ‘whatever it takes’ to get him through the door.
Interestingly, a detail that was also mentioned is that as Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City’s negotiations during the Erling Haaland deal went smoothly, this is a factor that could aid the club too.
To add to that, while Real Madrid are happy to shell out a maximum of £125 million to sign Bellingham, they would ideally insert add-ons needing him to win the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or instead of just paying the fee.
With Liverpool having pulled out of the transfer race to sign Jude Bellingham and Chelsea potentially missing out on Europe as well, Manchester City seem hot favourites to land him.
