Manchester City have seen a number of departures to Celtic in recent memory, either on loan or permanently.
The likes of Jason Denayer, John Guidetti, Dedryck Boyata, Patrick Roberts, Olivier Ntcham and Jeremie Frimpong have all moved from the Etihad Stadium to Parkhead in recent times.
Could we see more heading from City to Celtic? Well, the recent rumours suggest a double raid could yet be in the offing.
The Scottish Sun recently reported that Celtic want to lure Fergal Harkin to Glasgow as their new director of football.
Harkin is currently ‘Football Partnerships and Pathways Manager’ at City, so heading into a director of football role could be a big step up for the Irishman.
Now, The Sunday Post note that City’s Under-23 boss Enzo Maresca is one name in the frame for Celtic as they chase a new manager to replace Neil Lennon.
Maresca only took a role with City last summer, but his work is already being admired, and the report notes that he has refused to rule out a move to Parkhead via his agent.
Harkin heading to Celtic and Maresca following could make some sense for the Bhoys, and City will be on red alert after reading that not one but two of their key men could be Celtic targets.
