That is according to TEAMtalk, who has claimed how the City owners view the signing of Mbappe to go along with the acquisition of Erling Haaland in the summer of 2022.

Well, according to TEAMtalk, Manchester City are interested in signing Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.
City, who won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup last season, are keen on bringing the 24-year-old forward to the Etihad Stadium on a free transfer.
TEAMtalk has claimed that City owners find “a combination of Mbappe and Erling Haaland” very “tempting”.
Real Madrid, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Liverpool are also reportedly interested in Mbappe.
The report has noted that City “have the financial capability to offer an incredible deal that would make Mbappe the highest paid player in Premier League history”.

City already have one of the best squads in world football, perhaps even the best.

A combination of Haaland and Mbappe upfront would be deadly.
Mbappe, who is “already a phenomenon”, according to his former PSG teammate Neymar, has scored 10 goals and given one assist in nine Ligue 1 starts this season.
The 24-year-old France international forward scored 29 goals and provided five assists in 32 league starts last season and scored 28 goals and gave 17 assists in 34 league starts in 2021-22.
